£23.00
Add a delightful touch of mid-century British charm to your kitchen with this genuine pair of vintage Price & Kensington character storage canisters. Manufactured in Stoke-on-Trent, England, during the 1960s, this iconic "Country of Origin" series features a rich, high-gloss brown treacle glaze that perfectly complements retro, rustic, or farmhouse decor.
This set includes:
- "Coffee" Canister: Artfully sculpted as a figure in a traditional sombrero holding a guitar.
- "Tea" Canister: Artfully sculpted as an Asian sage/scholar figure.
Both pieces feature their authentic, incised "MADE IN ENGLAND P&K" backstamps on the base, certifying their production era at the historic Top Bridge Works before manufacturing moved overseas.
Condition
- Overall Display: Good vintage condition. When sitting on a shelf or countertop, these jars present beautifully from the front with bright, vivid glazes and fantastic character detail.
- Imperfections: Please note that these items are not in mint condition and show signs of age-appropriate wear. Both jars feature visible chipping, rough edges, and areas of exposed raw clay along their bottom unglazed base rims (please refer carefully to the base photos).
