🍒 The Inspiration Behind 'Cherry Bomb'
When I sat down to create 'Cherry Bomb,' I wanted to design more than just a picture of dessert—I wanted to capture a whole mood.
The focal point is an over-the-top, classic ice cream sundae float served in a faceted glass. Dripping with creamy soft-serve, covered in rainbow sprinkles, and topped with two glossy red cherries, it’s a total feast for the eyes.
To bring the 1950s diner scene to life, I drew on vintage pop-art and comic book styles, using subtle halftone textures, vibrant turquoise tones, and a glowing neon “Cherry Bomb” sign in the background. It’s equal parts sweet, nostalgic, and a little bit bold!
